Exter Hardy, the pastor of Pole Line Baptist Church, is probably best known as the guy who comes up with the funny, occasionally outrageous slogans that are very entertaining, even if your not stopped at the stop light. Some examples:

"The signs are to get attention," Exter admits, "a way to get people interested in what we are talking about in services." The slogans are usually pithy summations of the topic covered in church the following Sunday.
