 Despite the rain, many Davis residents made their way downtown to Central Park on Feb. 15 to view the kick off of the Amgen bike race. As the largest cycling event in America, the 2009 Amgen Tour of California challenges professional cycling teams. The Tour de France-style road race is a 750-mile course from Sacramento to Escondido, which ran from Feb. 14 to 22. |
