The field that hosted their high school graduation is the field where they carry on the tradition, watching Aggie football games as a certified member of the "Aggie Pack." Although not the common choice, Davis High graduates admit that UC Davis is not a bad place to attend college.
Common... it’s Davis
Population 64, 401, where soccer is a religion, the Farmers Market reigns supreme, nine elementary schools dot the city, bikes outnumber cars, a holiday community Nutcracker performance is a tradition, two Nugget Markets make other towns jealous, and a (controversial) Target is finally becoming a reality. Where there is still only one Davis High School and the symbolic Blue Devil, ironically ranked third friendliest city in the nation. And, finally, TP-ing during homecoming week. These are all memories that the Davis High graduates look back on as they walk across the stage at their commencement ceremony.
Davis families strive to create kids that are the team-playing, community-oriented, scholastically motivated kids that want to invest in their future through education; the Davis Joint Unified School District enrolls kids that are a cut above.
