Drink Special: None; although they keep on their extensive wine list, which can be ordered by the glass or bottle until close. A round of drinks for two was $14 without tax and tip. Customers: Predominantly undergraduates, who want to dance
Pasta ? is another, but more shocking restaurant-to-bar transformation than Little Prague. When the restaurant and kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m. and all the guests have gone, Pasta ? removes all the tables and chairs to make the entire establishment a dance floor. The DJ, and sometimes live drummer, is holed-up with the stash of tables and chairs on one side of the room, opposite the bar, spinning loud dance music.
The scene is predominantly undergraduates, but those dressed to go out on the town. These college students don't mind the dress code and, in fact, enjoy getting all dolled up to soak up the night life. And they are ready for piercing dance tunes and to dance until dawn - well, 2 a.m., at least. |
