Bring Fairytale Town to Your Classroom

This fall, bring a little Fairytale Town magic and fun directly into your classroom!

Animal Classroom Visits
PreK – 5th Grade
Offered September – June

Farmer Brown will bring some of Fairytale Town’s farm animals to your classroom and introduce students to their importance in society. Three workshop themes are available and can be customized to meet your classroom needs.

Theater Workshop Classroom Visits
6th – 12th Grade

Fairytale Town’s Education and Theatre Arts Specialist comes to your classroom to give your students a fast, fun and high-energy introduction to live theater and the works of William Shakespeare. Three different workshops provide a unique experience and can be adapted to suit your classroom needs.

Classroom visits are $200 per classroom and scheduled upon availability. To make a reservation, please contact education@fairytaletown.org or call (916) 808-8884. Classroom visits are made possible in part by a grant from the River Cats Foundation.

Book Fall Field Trips & Workshops

Children learn through play, and that is what Fairytale Town is all about! Self-guided field trips are affordable and fun.Cheese with kids

 Enhance your students’ experience by adding an educational workshop to your field trip. All workshops are designed to reinforce
language and science curricula and can be added to field trips for an additional $1 fee per participant.

Advance reservations are required and must be made at least two weeks in advance. To receive the discounted rate, groups must include at least 20 people.

ScholarShare Children’s Book Festival Returns

Fairytale Town’s FREE two-day celebration of reading and early childhood literacy returns the weekend of September 27 & 28!
The whole family will enjoy author and illustrator presentations, storytelling performances, hands-on activities and more! It’s a great way to encourage a love of reading in children. Please share this opportunity with your students.
