It’s almost October, but September still has some amazing events to offer. If you are searching for some weekend inspiration in Davis, look no further!
Today, Friday, September 28th starting at 5 P.M., the Robert Mondavi Institute at UC Davis is holding the Best of the Barrel event. The event will feature wine from multiple wineries (including UCD alumni wineries), beer, and a plenitude of delectable tidbits. Proceeds will benefit the Food Science Graduate Student Association and future outreach programs. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased at Nugget Market stores.
Tomorrow, Saturday, September 29th the John Natsoulas Gallery is holding a day long workshop featuring painting demonstrations by local artists. There will also be a paint out session when attendees will be able to paint alongside the artists; the work created from the event will be exhibited for one night and part of a silent auction that evening.
Back to the Future – Movie in the Park
Also on Saturday, September 29th, the Davis Rotary Club and Woodland Healthcare present Back to the Future at Central Park starting at 6:30 P.M. This event is free!
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Congregation Bet Haveim, there will be a festival on Sunday, September 30 starting at 11:00 A.M. at Central Park where Jewish art, food, culture, and entertainment will be shared with the Davis community. There are over 20 vendors attending the event, so it promises to be a great time.
