2nd Friday ArtAbout is a monthly evening of art viewing and artists’ receptions at galleries and businesses in Downtown Davis and beyond. Coordinated by the Davis Downtown Business Association, all events are free and open to the public. Many include complimentary refreshments and opportunities to converse with featured artists. Our April 13th event will be the debut of Open Door Art Studios on G St, a grass roots project that gives local artists a place to create and share their work and The Work Shop on E St, which is a drop-in work space for anyone who needs to work on various professional projects. Be sure visit their open houses and see these exciting new art & creative hubs! Also – enjoy live music, DJ, special event and/or a performance at Armadillo Music, Delta of Venus, French Cuff Consignment, Pence Gallery, Ray Johnston Photography Studio, Rominger West Winery, The Wardrobe, and Yolo SPCA Thrift Store.
