Here We Shave

de Vere’s Irish Pub has teamed up with the Sacramento Kings for the Keaton Raphael Memorial’s 10th Annual St. Baldrick’s head-shaving fundraiser.

The partnership starts on Tuesday, March 1st, when the Sacramento Kings host the Los Angeles Clippers. de Vere’s is offering discounted tickets to the game so pub fans can go enjoy the game and be a part of the St. Baldrick’s action.

At the end of the first quarter, two female UC Davis Cancer Center employees will get their heads shaved live on the Power Balance Pavilion jumbotron. Throughout the game, the Keaton Raphael Memorial, along with de Vere’s and the UCD Cancer Center, will have a St. Baldrick’s tent to collect donations, recruit participants, and help raise awareness for the St. Baldrick’s Day event at the Sacramento pub on Thursday, March 15th, 2012.

Davis, CA (February 20, 2012) – de Vere’s Irish Pub will be throwing their first-annual St. Patrick’s celebration in Davis, California this year. Instead of a one-day celebration, they’re dedicating an entire week to their favorite holiday. Additionally, they will be offering exclusive food and drink specials throughout the week.

“Being the only Irish-owned and Irish-run pub in town, we want to make sure we give everyone in the community an opportunity to celebrate St. Patrick’s and experience our pub in their own way,” says co-owner Henry de Vere White. “You can be mellow throughout the week with traditional fare and a pint or join the madhouse on St. Patrick’s Day for a truly festive time.”
