2nd Friday ArtAbout is a monthly evening of art viewing and artists’ receptions at galleries and businesses in Downtown Davis and beyond. All events are free and open to the public. 7-9 pm: In E Street Plaza, Join Davis’ cherished oldies cover band, Frankie and the Fabletones as they bop, hop, twist and shout their way through hits from the ’50s and ’60s. Frankie and the Fabletones is a ten-piece band ranging in age from 16 to 65. The four harmonizing singers are Frank Fox, Dianna Craig, Heidi Bekebrede and Chris Sanborn. The band consists of Sergei Shkurkin (keys), Noah Wolfe (electric guitar), Andy McCauley (bass), Jeff Devine (drums), Calvin Handy (sax) and Jose Hermocillo (trumpet).
Beforehand, from 6-7 pm, Fabletones singers will perform a capella, approximately 6-7 pm in surpise Downtown ArtAbout locations.
