Flea Market Finds!

The grand opening of the Sacramento Craft and Flea Marketplace occurred Sunday, March 27. Located on 21st and W under the freeway, vendors sold new and used unique items for extremely reasonable prices. Above are flowers made out of beverage cans such as Sprite and Arizona Green Tea. Below are pictures of other treasures I found during my visit!

How sweet are these “daffodils”? Constructed out of china plates, glasses, serving platters, and crystals, these unique flowers would look whimsical in any garden plot!

They were selling for around $25!

There was also an array of hardware for drawers, doors, mailboxes…

as well as handcrafted and unique jewelry! Below are some of my favorite items from the weekend: Pendants made from Scrabble letters and Dominos!

Each pendant had a unique picture on the back of the game piece! They sold for about $5-$7.

There were also many unique paintings and photos on sale by artists, as well as clocks made out of computer hard drives and stepping stones in the shapes of rabbits and alligators!

The market will take place on the last Sunday of every month. Entrance is $3, but 16 and unders are free! If you are interested in showing your wares at the market, a vendor space is $50 and a table is $10 for the day. Please contact Marylon Rose, the Director, at marylon@saccraftandflea.com.
