Join us at the Pence Gallery’s Annual Art Auction- a fun social event where art lovers can collect wonderful art created by the top local and regional artists. This year’s Auction, located at the Pence Gallery, in Davis, will allow patrons to view and bid on fantastic works of art.

To celebrate the Gallery’s 35 years of connecting the community with innovative and thought-provoking art, artists from throughout the region have contributed fine works of art including watercolor and oil paintings, mosaics, ceramics, photography, textiles, and sculpture. Silent bidding begins on Aug. 28, and concludes the evening of the Gala, from 6:30-8:30 PM, followed by a live auction led by professional auctioneer Alissa Ford. Amazing works of art will be available by local and regional artists such as Tom and Sara Post, Philippe Gandiol, Robert Arneson, Linda S. Fitz Gibbon, Wayne Thiebaud, Nancy Selvin, Donna Billick, and many others! A full list of participating artists is on our website. In addition to the nearly 120 works available, rare pieces from collections and a special section of affordable works offers visitors a huge variety of art to choose. Gourmet appetizers and desserts by Dos Coyotes Border Cafe, Ciocolat, Seasons, Nugget Markets, and Aioli Bodega Española will satisfy every bidder. Live jazz music by Eve West Bessier and Twist of Lime will greet guests as they enjoy a glass of fine wine from Fiddlehead Cellars.

Tickets are $25 members and $35 non-members and may be purchased at the Pence Gallery by phone with a credit card or in person at the Gallery, which is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11:30-5 PM.  Tickets are also available online at www.pencegallery.org.

This event is sponsored by Tandem Properties, Brown Construction, Dr. Henry Bennett, DDS, and Cable Car Wash.
